NORTHROP GRUMMAN/McDONNELL DOUGLAS FB-23 BLACK WIDOW II
The Northrop Grumman/McDonnell Douglas FB-23 Black Widow II is based on the Northrop Grumman/McDonnell Douglas YF-23 Advanced Technology Fighter (ATF) proposal. The FB-23 replaces the General Dynamics FB-111 Aardvark in the United States Air Force inventory. The aircraft was also purchased by the Royal Air Force manufactured under license by BAE Systems as the FB.1 Condor, the Royal Australian Air Force, and the Canadian Armed Forces as the CF-23.
The EF-23 Gray Ghost replaces the General Dynamics/Grumman EF-111 Raven.
