GENERAL DYNAMICS CONVAIR DIVISION/BRITISH AIRCRAFT CORPORATION (BAC) MERLIN FB.1
The Royal Air Force ordered 50 General Dynamics Convair Division/British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) Merlin FB.1 figher bomber aircraft also known as the F-111K. This aircraft entered service in 1969 and served during the Falklands War and the Eugenics War and as part of the United Kingdom's nuclear deterrent during the Cold War.
The name Merlin is the actual name that the F-111K would have received had it entered RAF service.
